- Wipe your kittens eyes often or when needed ! Use a warm cotton ball or paper towel ! I have also found
that Sterile Contact solution (Multi- purpose) on a cotton ball, works wonders to clean eyes!
- Comb several times weekly with a good comb ! Try making grooming a happy time for you and your pet !
*Treat with FRONTLINE for fleas and Ticks! Check for these parisites regular, because they can become a
problem if they get out of control ! Frontline is a really good product and is used monthly and controls these
issues well !
- Check ears often, they should be free of any wax build up or black debris !
- I use Tidy Cats Scoopable ! Be sure to clean litter boxes regularly, because a dirty litter box leads to
behavior issues with your kitten ! Kittens do not like to use dirty litter boxes !!!
- Kittens love cat nip, and your kitten has been introduced to, high grown cat nip and it can be bought
at Feeders Supply or Cosmic Cat Nip from Pets Smart !
- A favorite toy is the Turbo Scratcher, that cost about $10.00 at Wal-Mart or Pet Smart.
- Scaratching Post is a Necessity ! Train your kitten to use the scratching post by sprinkling cat nip on
it ! Please DO NOT DE-CLAW, it is a form of AMPUTATION, and it does VOID YOUR CONTRACT !!!
- Keep fresh water and food out at all times for your new kitten for the first year ! Your kitten is being fed
Science Diet/Purina kitten Pro Plan Mixed and should be allowed to eat all that he/she wants for the
first year , unless your vet says otherwise ! If you should decide to change the brand of food, do so slowly
as an adbrupt change can cause upset stomach, and diarrhea !
- A good supplement for your kitten is NUTRA CAl which can be purchased from a pet store or from one of the
